About Us
Welcome to Yorkies of South Georgia. My name is James Webb and I breed AKC Yorkshire Terriers. I have been raising this wonderful breed since 1999. It is my goal to breed top quality dogs with specific traits to provide wonderful companions. Yorkies are a truly unique breed and I am honored to have been working with them for so many years.
American Kennel Club (AKC)
All of our Georgia Yorkies are AKC registered, and every puppy comes with AKC registration papers. Founded in 1884, the AKC is the only kennel club that ensures the integrity and lineage of the breed, making our Yorkies in Georgia a trusted choice for dog lovers.
A Furever Friend
The Yorkshire Terrier, a breed that has been loved since the mid-1800s, originated as a working-class dog. By the late English Victorian era, they quickly transitioned into a favored lapdog. The AKC recognized the first Yorkie in 1885, named Belle.
